Kent Taylor serves as the Director of Open Space and Trails for Pinal County. In this role, he is responsible for guiding the implementation of the Pinal County Open Space and Trails Master Plan, as well as the management and operations of the existing park, trail, and open space inventory.

Prior to joining Pinal County in 2006, Kent was a small business owner for 16 years.

Kent’s volunteer involvement includes Current member of, the Arizona Outdoor Coordinating Commission (AORCC); a Current Board Member and Secretary, of the National Association of County Park and Recreation Officials: a past Board Member, of Arizona Heritage Alliance; past Board Member (including President and Treasurer) of the Arizona Trail Association; past Chairman of the City of Casa Grande Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission; and past Chairman of the Arizona State Committee on Trails (ASCOT).

Kent earned an MPA from Troy University and a BS and MS from Northern Arizona University. He and his wife of 43 years, Victoria, live in Casa Grande and have three children and three grandchildren.
