The Maricopa Library and Cultural Center was first conceived back in 1955 when local citizens discovered Library Extension had books to loan. Volunteer-led for nearly five decades, MLCC matured along with the city of Maricopa, opening a state-of-the-art building in 2021. Offerings include material checkouts, computer usage, print/copy services, notarization, reference services, and programs galore led by a hardworking team of dedicated library professionals. Fulfilling a critical need for gathering spaces within the city, nearly half of the MLCC is carved out for meeting rooms for community groups, clubs, and quiet study. There is something for every member of the family at the Maricopa Library and Cultural Center!
