On January 23, 2024, representatives from Pinal County Development Services spoke at the District 4 State of the County event in Saddlebrooke in the southern part of the county. This presentation gave residents information about the Road Maintenance and Improvement Fund, which pays for all pavement maintenance in the county. This fund began in 1987 and will expire on December 31, 2026, if it is not renewed. Without this renewal, the roads in Pinal County could fall into serious disrepair.

This was the first of many scheduled presentations they will give in communities around Pinal County. These presentations will be at city and town council meetings, in front of community groups, and at community open houses.
