Thanks to the generosity of our residents and local businesses, the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office was able to assist a total of 107 children from 39 different families in 2022 through our “Shop with the Sheriff” program. Again this year, we are reaching out on behalf of those in our communities who need our support.
Unfortunately, 2023 brought additional burdens to already struggling families. Inflation and worsening insecurities means of them will be going without this holiday season.
During their daily interactions, PCSO deputies look to identify families struggling to make ends meet. All year long, donated "Shop with the Sheriff" funds are used to help these families when need, trauma, or tragedy strikes.
Again during the holidays, our "Shop with the Sheriff" event addresses the needs of selected families by taking a child or children Christmas shopping for their family. Each is given a gift card, and are accompanied by a Deputy, Sheriff’s Office Employee, or Volunteer as they shop. These children will often choose to purchase staple foods and basic items such as blankets, clothing, shoes, and kitchenware, as well as toys.
At this time, we are asking for your support and donations to help a child or a whole family in need. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated, and 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to making sure these deserving Pinal County families have a memorable and happy holiday.
