Shelter staff and volunteers are piloting a new program called 'Cat Pawsitive.' The program focuses on improving the quality of life for shelter cats, increasing their chances of getting adopted. Cat Pawsitive is a program developed by The Jackson Galaxy Project and Greater Good Charities and prioritizes working with stressed and fearful cats. Staff is hoping to grow the program in the coming months amongst other staff and volunteers.
