At the October 4th Board of Supervisors meeting, the Board approved the proclamation announcing the month of October to recognize Domestic Violence Awareness in Pinal County.
Domestic Violence is prevalent in every community and affects all people regardless of age, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, or nationality and inflicts devastating consequences lasting lifetimes and crossing generations.
Domestic Violence Awareness Month provides an opportunity to recommit to ensuring that we provide accessible, appropriate, and trauma-informed services to victims of intimate partner violence.
