Thanks to a generous $50,000 grant from the Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety, the Pinal County Sheriff's Office will be able to continue to fund overtime and other employee related expenses during our holiday DUI Task Force events.
So far in 2023, PCSO has arrested 79 drivers for DUI Drugs and DUI Alcohol during DUI Task Force weekends. This grant will help us continue our mission to take intoxicated drivers off of Pinal County roadways during the second half of the year as well.
"Pinal County families deserve to have safe roadways on holiday weekends, and every day," said Sheriff Mark Lamb. "We are grateful for AZGOHS and its continued support."
