Michael is a prime example of what a supervisor should be. Michael consistently goes above and beyond what is expected of a supervisor, constantly looking for ways to help the department run better. Michael invested countless hours into the process of transferring our fleet management software and is still working on several aspects to make everyone in the fleet's daily operations run more efficiently.
With recent shortages and backorders, Michael has had his employees project future demand to prevent shortages of parts and supplies needed to keep the county rolling. By forecasting these shortages, our department is able to ensure reduced downtime.
Michael holds each of his employees and himself accountable by monitoring the flow of parts and supplies weekly, asking his employees to make adjustments where needed to ensure we are always prepared.
