Supervisor Miller Works to Make Hopi Hills Neighborhood Safer from Fire Damage

News District 3

Pinal County District Three Supervisor Steve Miller took action to ensure fire hydrants were installed in the Hopi Hills neighborhood near Casa Grande after many house fires occurred in the area over the years.

Supervisor Miller worked with County Grants Coordinator Heather Patel to apply for federal grant money to install the fire hydrants. After securing the funding, Pinal County Public Works worked with Arizona Water Company and procured a contractor to install the fire hydrants. Work was completed in October, making the community safer from fire damage in the future.
