On Friday, March 17, Pinal County Public Defense Attorneys renewed their oath of office. An oath to support the Constitution not just of the state in which they practice but above all, to support the Constitution of the United States with integrity and civility. It is an oath that serves as the foundation of a great legal system. One that can be upheld to the highest standard of law and truth. Each lawyer must swear this oath when they are licensed to practice law, but few renew their oath ever again.
