Here are some safety tips:
*More than 50% of rattlesnake bites are caused by people approaching them, so stay away!
*Carry a flashlight during night hikes and camping trips.
*Don't try to catch them. Some species are protected by state laws.
*If bitten, immediately seek medical attention.
