OPEN SPACE AND TRAILS ADOPT-A-PARK PROGRAM
The Adot-A-Park program is a cooperative effort between Pinal County Open Space and Trails and residents, business owners, or groups wishing to contribute the appearance of their community. The program is designed to promote civic responsibility as well as be fun and educational.
Volunteers for the Adopt-A-Park Program can have an enormous impact on the environment and the aesthetic quality of our public spaces. Additionally, the volunteer hours provided by our Adopt-A-Park supporters extends your tax dollars by saving county resources and maintenance costs.
What are my RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Picking up litter
- Sweeping courts and walkways
- Reporting park maintenance issues
- Pulling weeds
- Reporting park hazards
- Pruning (under department direction)
- Planting (under department direction)
What areas can I adopt?
Any county managed park, trail segment, or trail head.
