Peralta Regional Park
Peralta Regional Park is situated in the incredible Superstition Mountains and offers the following amenities:
- Equestrian Staging Area
- 9+ miles of multi-use non-motorized trails with varying difficulty
- 18 Picnic Sites and 2 Large Group Picnic Sites
- Stargazing Node for setting up a telescope
- 31 Remote Campsites
- Interpretive trail with educational panels
- Waterless Restrooms
Please note: The park has no electricity, water, or trash service, so campers must pack in what they need and pack out all waste.
What are the parks hours?
Peralta Regional Park day use hours are from dawn to 10:00 PM unless otherwise posted. Our main entry gates will be locked at 10:00 PM and reopen at dawn. All overnight guests must check in before the gates close.
Please check local sunrise times when planning your visit.
Where is the park located?
The park is +/-498 acres located Northwest of Florence Junction on the east side of Peralta Road.
What is the Day Use Fee?
The fee is $7 per vehicle for day-use visitors. You can purchase your pass online in advance at the link listed below. If you prefer to pay onsite, you can scan the QR code listed on the park kiosks or pay with cash at the Iron Rangers. Please remember that change will not be provided, so the exact amount is appreciated.
Can I use other passes or permits at Peralta Regional Park?
The park is supported through fees collected by Pinal County. We do not receive benefits from recreational passes/permits distributed through other agencies. For your convenience, you can purchase a day-use pass ahead of time here.
Common passes we can not accept include:
Tonto National Forest Recreational Passes
Recreational Land Use Permit, Arizona State Trust Department
America the Beautiful-The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass
Maricopa County Annual Pass
How much is the camping fee?
Overnight camping costs $10 per night for all individual sites, and group sites are $35 per night.
What kind of camping is available?
Peralta Regional Park is designed for a backcountry primitive camping experience. The park offers rustic campsites for tent and car camping only. Our tent campsites have a parking space (10x20 ft) that can accommodate one vehicle up to 20 feet in length. Vehicles longer than 20 ft. are not permitted in the camping areas.
The backpacking campsites are just a hike away for a secluded camping experience with convenient access to the trail system and other park amenities a short hike away.
How much is the Ramada Rental fee?
$10 per day and $35 per group ramada per day
